So far Shattered Lives has worked with Feligrace to produce many success stories, by providing numerous courses and back to work programs for clients we have worked with.
This corporate and collaborative achievement has seen individuals from crushed and traumatized backgrounds succeed on courses and back to work schemes that we have enrolled them on. Most of our clients successfully complete the courses and are now employed full time living fulfilling and successful lives.
Emma Smith is a 29 year old Health and Social Care Worker living in Beacontree. When we first met Emma, who is a single mum of three young children, she felt lonely, uninspired and unmotivated.
We started working with Emma from the initial referral and we ensured that Emma was visited by her allocated mentor for guidance and motivation on a regular basis. After some time working with Emma, we referred her to Feligrace Ltd which is a human capacity development company that provides a variety of courses. Emma was enrolled onto a health and social care course and was given support and help with child care so she could attend the course.
During the course Emma became discouraged and sometimes felt like giving up but because of the constant support and encouragement that we gave her she persisted on the course and eventually qualified.
Emma now works full time in the social work field and hopes to further her education for career progression.
